Kings  Rest  Farm

King's Rest Farm is a first-generation family farm built from a dream to become producers instead of just consumers and to raise animals with transparency, care, and respect for the land. With no agricultural background, Brooke and her husband set out to create a farm where people can truly know where their food comes from.

The farm offers pasture-raised pork, chicken, eggs, handcrafted salamis, lard candles, and lard soaps. Their animals are raised on rotated pastures, fed non-GMO, soy-free diets, and are never given hormones or growth supplements. The farm also avoids synthetic chemicals, focusing instead on healthy soil, regenerative practices, and raising animals as nature intended.

At the heart of King's Rest Farm is a belief that food should be transparent and that everyone deserves to know their local farmer. Brooke is always happy to answer questions and help customers better understand how their food is raised.

You can find King's Rest Farm every Saturday from May through November at the California Farmers Market, purchase directly from the farm by appointment, or arrange pickup at select Southern Maryland locations.
